Engineering Enterprises, Inc. performed detailed topographic surveys, provided design services, prepared plans, specifications and bid documents and coordinated project activities for the installation of 7,900 lineal feet of water main in the United City of Yorkville. The water main, extending from Somonauk Street at the north to Hydraulic Street at the south, made it necessary to install a portion of the water main in the bed of the Fox River. A portable, inflatable cofferdam was filled with water and provided a temporary "aqua barrier", allowing "dewatering" of the appropriate section of the river where water main was placed.
