Michele L. Piotrowski

Michele Piotrowski is a Vice President with over 24 years of engineering experience. She has managed the planning, design, maintenance, and construction of municipal water and wastewater system projects, including water towers (new and rehabilitated), water main (new and replacement), pump stations, pressure reducing value stations, lift stations, sewers, and rate studies. She has an extensive background in hydraulic analysis for water distribution and supply which provides a strong foundation for the Water Works System projects with which she has been involved.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Catholic University of America and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. Michele is also active in the Illinois Section American Water Works Association and is the District 2B Trustee, Chair for the Water Efficiency committee, a Water Loss Trainer, as well as coordinates the scholarship awards and is involved in the Public Outreach Committee.
