EEI Announces Two Promotions and Two New Hires
Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI) is pleased to announce the promotion of two employees and the addition of two new staff members to the firm.
Christopher J. Ott, P.E., CPII, promoted to Senior Project Engineer II. Ott interned with EEI prior to coming on staff full time in 2013. Since joining EEI, Chris has become an integral member of our Transportation Group working on various roadway projects. He is an active member of the American Public Works Association Fox Valley Branch Membership Committee.
Christopher R. Walton, P.E., promoted to Senior Project Engineer II. Walton is a 2011 graduate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Since joining EEI in 2013, Chris has become an important member of our Environmental Group working on various water and wastewater projects. He is an active member of the Illinois Section American Water Works Association Source Water Protection Committee.
New staff members include: Douglas Keppy and Kamelia Afshinnia
Douglas H. Keppy, P.E. has been hired as a Senior Project Engineer II and brings eight years of previous experience to EEI. He will be working on a variety of municipal and land development projects. He holds his Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering from Valparaiso University and is a resident of Sugar Grove, Illinois.
Kamelia Afshinnia, Ph.D., E.I. has been hired as a Project Engineer for the firm. Afshinnia holds her Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering and Master’s from Iran University of Science and Technology and her Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina. Afshinnia will be working on a variety of water, wastewater, and stormwater related projects.
