Talsma Announces Retirement Plans

After 13 years working as the Vice President / Business Development for Engineering Enterprises, Inc. (EEI), Tom Talsma, a resident of Geneva, Illinois is set to retire on April 30, 2018.

Tom brought 30-plus years of experience in the Public Works field from the City of Geneva when he joined EEI in 2005. He is an active member of the American Public Works Association (APWA) and has served as president of its Chicago Metro Chapter. He was also a recipient of the APWA Top Ten Public Works Leader of the Year Award; one of the highest honors available in the public works profession. Over the years he has served on numerous Technical Advisory Committees bringing his multi-faceted experience to the table.

According to Peter G. Wallers, P.E, CFM, President, “Tom has been a dedicated partner, both to our employees and our clients throughout his tenure with us. He was instrumental in developing and implementing EEI’s Business Development Strategy and for that we are grateful. He will be missed!” A private celebration with family and friends has been scheduled.
