Engineering Enterprises, Inc. wins two special awards from ACECIL

March 2009 – (Sugar Grove, IL): Forty-six Illinois firms were recognized for excellence in engineering before an audience of over 400 engineers, clients and government officials at an Awards Luncheon held February 12, 2009 at the Drake Hotel, Chicago. The firms were recognized for award-winning engineering projects in the American Council of Engineering Companies of Illinois’ Thirty-Eighth Annual Engineering Excellence Awards Competition. The competition recognizes outstanding projects designed by private practice engineering firms from the State of Illinois.
Engineering Enterprises, Inc. won a Special Achievement Award for two projects: “Protecting Floodplains in Advance of Development” which was designed for the Village of Burlington, and “Hampshire Wastewater Treatment Facility Expansion” which was designed for the Village of Hampshire. Special Achievement Awards are given for projects “worthy of special recognition of the engineer and the owner/client for achieving engineering excellence.”
