Chicago Street From Center Street to Liberty Street (STP)

City of Elgin, Illinois

Project consisted of approximately 3,500 feet of reconstruction. The existing two-lane road with parking on both sides was reconstructed to provide for two shared lanes for vehicular/cyclist traffic in each direction and parking. The improvements consisted of PCC pavement, concrete curb and gutter, PCC sidewalk, storm sewer, water main, sanitary sewer lining, ornamental roadway lighting, and traffic signal modifications.
