Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements
City of Sandwich, Illinois
EEI provided design and construction engineering services for the wastewater treatment facility (WWTF) improvements, funded by a $13 million SRF low-interest loan. The project consisted of installing facilities at WWTF to achieve compliance with the 1.0 mg/L and future 0.5 mg/L phosphorus NPDES permit limit and various WWTF improvements that replaced aging equipment and reduce O&M costs.
