New Well No. 13
City of Warrenville, Illinois
EEI provided design engineering services for a new Silurian-Dolomite well and adjacent water treatment plant with a design capacity of 700 GPM. The new 2,500 square-foot water treatment facility will feature an iron removal system with feeds for various chemicals including sodium hypochlorite, fluoride, and a corrosion inhibitor. Twelve private residential wells within a 1,600-foot radius of Well 13 were consensually analyzed before, during, and after the 29-hour pump test of the new municipal well, following drilling completion in the Fall of 2023. Construction of the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) is anticipated in 2025.
